Could you spend the rest of your life with someone who had horrific taste in music? How important is it to you to share your love of music with a good friend or romantic partner?

I'm going to be honest. No.

Also, it's very important for me to have similar music taste as a friend, and definitely with a romantic partner. I think a lot of people's personalities and interests are shaped from their music taste. Well, maybe not from, but I tend to get along better with people (at least online) who are into the same taste in music as me, or like the same bands that I do, than with someone who still loves Chris Brown or is obsessed with Taylor Swift. I mean, I literally shake my head at people who I consider to have horrible taste in music. However, most of my real life "friends" have drastically different music tastes than me, and I get along with most of them fine. Sometimes.

I'm not sure if I'll ever be okay with boinking a guy who is into Nickleback, Ja Rule (lol) and/or Fall Out Boy, though.

What do you think?
